Tri-fecta? is that how ya all in the north spell it?

now that I passed my spelling bee:-) what month does that kick off? is anyone doing it this year?

it sounds like a must fun win for me but I need some planning time if it's 3 weeks in the bush

Leonie would probably know but I think when she started it it started with Ouray (The FJ summit.) If that's the case the dates are not set yet See post #29 here:

That doesn't mean the trifecta HAS to include the Summit though. Then Moab and then it ended at Surf n Turf which is in early November.

thanks Steve, Leonie did talk to me about the trifecta, wasn't sure if it's certain dates or runs that are set in stone or if it's a mixed bag, guess I'll wait for her to see what she has to say

it was coined the Trifecta since all three events took place back-to-back-to-back and were completed within about two weeks. i agree with SoFo, it doesn't necessarily have to include all or the other, but was probably the first of its kind. the AllCal date is not firm yet and there was talk about what goes on after the summit, so it may be a different beast next year.

i would hope that Summit keeps to the same weekend as it has every year since its inception and that AllCal would fall on the weekend right after, but we shall see.

Maybe we can come up with a new Trifecta. I will post dates for the events Boztec will be attending and lets see what we can get together. I will work on it tomorrow.
