Toyota TechStream Diagnostics Tool

About 2-month ago, I bought a knock off J2534 Mongoose USB cable. Over the weekend, I subscribed to a 2-day access to TIS website to download the latest TechStream software version 7.12 and able to generate the key code.

I started playing with it and so far, I was able to customized the following;

- remote door unlock with one press of the unlock button

- changed the dome/interior lights auto turn off delay

- removed/turned off the (beep) buzzer sound when you armed or disarmed the alarm system

Very few data list/options that can be customized (2-day Professional subscription) for 2007 model, will try the other model year's data list this weekend.

Not sure what you mean here, I would only be interested in a ONE TIME change, why would I want to change back and forth? The one time cost would be minimal at best,no?

The more I learn about my truck and the more control I have the happier I am. I haven't been to the dealer service department one time since I bought the FJ in 07. Just feels right.

Im down with that, I only advocate going to the dealer for A) warranty repair and B) recalls.

But cant see spending $80+ to reprogramme my key!

I hear ya, there are things I only wanted to chage once too. And if thats all your interested in then, yeah it'd be over kill for you.

But if you want to change these things AND, say check your own error codes, reset/program new TPMS sensors, run diagnostic checks, then this is a good deal.
