FJ Cruisers of Northern California

So i'm debating about my next upgrade and really i'm between an odd set of items...an ARB Fridge and UCAs.

So currently i don't really feel like the lift has caused any more squirrelly steering then what I had before or maybe I have just grown used to it....If so, what is the negative impact of leaving the stock UCAs on there, i don't have any clearance issues.

On the trail i can't really see them failing, and on the road they would be a minor annoyance at best. camber and toe do not appear to be impacted to much...so if it just caster...meh...

I may just need some convincing because the more i think about it the more i want to get that ARB fridge in the back of my FJ! :-D

UCAs are a GOOD thing check out the ones offered by Light Racing lots of NorCalers run them and solve the problems you described
If you're not rubbing and highway drift is not annoying, get the fridge.
I have not really checked for rubbing, I'll do that before i decided anything....didn't feel anything on the road to Laurel lake though so i figure i should be good.
Sounds like the steering issues don't bother you and you're leaning towards the fridge, so get the fridge. Your UCA's ball joint will eventually fail prematurely, but you could pick up some stock ones as replacement from some one I'm sure.
I say get the fridge you can use it for more then just camping.

I've had a lift for 3 years now with my stock UCAs and it hasn't hindered the drivability.
and it looks like there are a couple left in the ARB Fridge Freezer Group Buy in the Blue.
