What's your budget for the lift, tires, and what not? that will determine your build most of all.what kind of wheeling are you gonna be doing most or a little of everything.......

For the most part folks around here run Icon or OME set-ups

I would never do something like that even if it was free, but not even if they pay me to do it... yes it may help to do the final obstacle at Slickrock but then you have to go 45MPH (yes I am exaggerating) to go home on the freeway?

Not everybody is into pure rock-crawling, and the FJ is not the rig for that kind of stuff, if you want to go to an expedition in the desert for example?

I think the 40's on that thing are extreme, but the SAS is definately doable. I'd do a SAS on 35" and call it day. Hopefully in a couple years when the FJ isn't our only car.
