The nut that holds the spacer to the hub is fairly deep so you get good thread contact. So far it has not been a problem for all of FJs w/ Spidertrax.

Mark has got it right the rear wheel studs are longer and replacing the front ones are a PITA
call me up if you wanna switch them out

For the FJ studs 12mm x 1.5 - minimum of 6.5 turns
Great article. I did not know there was a specific pattern to putting lug nuts on.
