FJ Cruisers of Northern California

I had to do my first emergency maneuver in the FJ today and the VSC probably saved the truck.  Was doing 38 down El Camino and a UPS truck made a right turn into my lane about 30 feet in front of me.  My only option, nail him or try to swerve to the next lane.  Opted for the swerve and my rear end started to go round, VSC kicked in did some wiggling, but straightened out before I nailed the UPS truck or the oncoming traffic.

glad it saved you. i've been saved by VSC a couple times up in Sierras.
Awesome.
Close call. I saw you this morning on Whipple, I was not in my FJ.
On my way home I was at a red light on El Camino when I heard a boom, boom, boom, boom! Four cars behind me hit each other.
Could very well have been me, I was on whipple around 10:30am. There is another guy that has a trail team I see on whipple all the time too, think he lives near/on Brittan.
Oh it was you, unless he has the same stickers on his window. haha You were at the light at El Camino, I slid past you on the left to turn.
ahh yes, then it was probably me :-) I see more FJ's at that intersection then any where else. Friday I saw a brand new TT followed by an 07 TRD.
Glad you are okay and that everything worked the way it was supposed to.

I had brake assist and VSC help me one day, too. To quote Magic "Every driver has a scary poo moment". That day was WAAAYYYY worse than teetering on 2 wheels for 5 minutes :)
