Swing tailgate/ spare tire carrier?

Ok so i made a swinging tailgate/ spare tire carrier and i would like some input on it. Not too sure of how i feel about it yet, im kinda goin for the pre-runner look. Im not done with it yet but here is the rough idea. Would any one buy something like this to use during the summer, the visibility out the back without the back door is great for wheelin! NEED SOME INPUT

Whoa man,  That's a comitted design : )  I forsee a need to relocate the plate for wheeling.  Are there any shots of the tire

"swung out"?

Need a better picture of how you mounted the pre-runner tire carrier. check the picture for an example of

a nice pre-runner tire carrier by metal tech.
