SWI-JACK

Anyone have any experience with installing the SWI-JACK for a kenwood unit? I installed the DNX9960 today and the only thing I could not figure out was the programing for the SWI-JACK...... Im pretty sure I hooked it up, although it was very confusing. Pretty much when I get to programing my steering wheel I can never get the red light to come back on. Any help would be appreciated!

I've done it to mine and you're right it is a little complicated. My only suggestion is a lot of patience and follow the instructions slowly and methodically. After a few tries it does work. I do recommend soldering the connections.

I soldered the power and ground and crimped the white swijack wire, so maybe there is a bad connection. Do you remember if you used the 150 ohm resistor or the 560 ohm? I have two different directions that each say a different resistor ohm...
