FJ Cruisers of Northern California

One of my wimpy aluminum sway bar collars stopped holding which allowed my sway bar to contact the coil spring when the suspension was articulated. No damage, just a really annoying sound.

I looked at what some of the FJ parts shops are selling, All Pro $20 each, yeah right. ToyTek at $20 a pair is better but still too much for a shaft collar.

The collars listed below are a bit smaller then the sway bar making for a nice tight fit.

I'm a newb to this group, and while I'm no expert on sway bar collars, I do have a fair amount of experience with shaft collars from McMaster for other applications.  The McMaster part number you listed above is for a black oxide finish (the least expensive) but they will totally rust.  At the very least, I'd get something zinc plated and put a little grease on the set screws. McMaster's are $10.09 each, basically the same as the Toytec zinc plated collars.  I'm not sure what the finish is on the AllPro collars - pretty blue powder coat? Really, for $20 each?

good deal Marc!!!
