Suspension parts matching question
Ok, so I have stock front springs, Bilstein 5100 shocks at highest setting. OME 885 rear springs, Bilstein 5100 shocks. When I added the rear springs, I gained a little height. Before, I had a little sag in the rear, now I have a lot of rake! I like rake, but want a little less.
Question: Can I put a 1/2 spacer in the front? Would this impact the bilsteins in any way?

Billy 5100s at top setting get you about 2 1/2" of lift. you Can add a 1/4" spacer (plate Thickness) to get a full 3"s of lift out of the setup, but UCAs are recommended to get proper alignment at 3"s of lift.

Ok, Two questions:
1. To go from 2.5 inch to 3" I use a 1.25 inch spacer? Please explain.
2. Would I gain more by using OME 885 (medium) front springs and lowering my front billies back down to stock?

1. He said 1/4, not 1 1/4
2. Probably not, the 885s end up around 2.5 when settled.

1. Doh. Right, but either way, how does 2.5 plus .25 (1/4) equal 3? :)

Just trying to understand. So are we saying .25 because it's safer to undershoot?
