So, i have been thinking about getting a 2.5"-3.0" lift on my rig... i have found Old Man Emu (OME), i have also found that if i was to get the OME lift kit i would get the "Heavy" 886 coil springs with heavy rear coils.... any suggestions or alternatives for OME, something i havent thought of?

Thanks.

If all you have is the Metal-Tech winch bumper like myself then you do not want to go with the heavies, the ride will be terribly too stiff. Go with the mediums, I have a set sitting in my garage you can have for $200.00, they are very lightly used, I was going to put them on mine but could use the cash since I'm off on a medical right now and not working. Let me know, 707-477-8122

If FPFJ doesn't take them, I'd be interested Ranger Jim.  Will the OME mediums be sufficient for a Demello front bumper + winch (future)?

Yes sir, I have not heard one person that uses the heavy's on a daily driver that has been happy yet. I'll let you know if he wants them or not. If others have input pls respond.
I agree, OME hevy ride rough even with weight. I have warn front bumper with warn power plant winch, dual batteries, full skids and warn rear bumper, 33 inch spare, loaded expedition drawer, hi lift jack, water and gas cans and the OME hevy are still rough. Had I to do it over again I would have went with mediums. One thing I did enjoy, was ordering the new OME Nitro Charger sport series shocks as they have less fade then the standards.

I'm upgrading to King so my OME full set will also be for sale in about a week.
