THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
* Drinking excessively and driving is strictly prohibited (CA laws on drunk driving apply on the beach)
* ...so is drinking excessively and becoming a liability to the rest of the group
* No shooting firearms
* Watch out for your fellow FJers...everywhere - on the dunes, in town, in the water, etc.
* Newbies on the dunes...be sure you know what you are getting into. Ride jumpseat in a more experienced driver's rig before trying things out on your own!
* Do not speed over uncontrolled, unobserved dunes - know what's on the other side before jumping or speeding over dunes
* Deflating your tires is highly recommended (air stations are available on the beach and at the gas stations in town)
* Dogs must be on a leash at all times - Informative post can be found here on the SoCal FJ Cruiser Forum.
* Please use the restrooms or PETT toilets - digging holes is not an option unless you don't mind your own kid or family member burying themselves in sand and finding a nice surprise.
* Do not litter, bury bottles in the sand or place bottles into the fire
* Abide by the speed limit while driving on the beach - you will be ticketed if you go over it
* Be respectful when playing music loud - not everyone likes your music. No loud, amplified music late at night.
* Do not do anything that will have serious repercussions on the entire group. Remember, you are representing the off-road community.
* Common sense is your friend
* Violating any of these tips could result in partial/full expulsion from all future trail runs and/or major NorCal/SoCal/AllCal events
* Have fun!

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your words of wisdom!

Count me in for the two GIANT tarps
One camp table with Grill
Couple of balls of thick twine/rope
I have two lanterns, was only planning on one, but can bring both

I need to get with Vince and Bz next week to split of some of my stuff. Still counting on one of you to take the keg, the other will get a box of hooch, and possibly a cooler of jshots (they take up a LOT of room since you cant squish them, they need their own cooler).

BOSS, you da BOSS, thank you for taking a stand! Extra jello shots for you! :)
Sometimes the obvious needs to be said..

and when I stand up I know I will not stand alone..

Nor-Cal Rocks !!
I can help you take things.. but I can't let you know until the the week of because I might bring a 3rd person with me. They don't get their work schedule until the week of, so i'll keep you posted!
We are heading down Thursday. We will have Stove, Kitchen, 20 x 30' Tarp, Table, Ropes

Well said Boss and I am right there with you.
Can't wait to see you Leonie!

There are plenty of us who would give Boss backup on that ignorance with the guns thing. Been there, done that, don't need any repeat performances.
Awesome! Thanks for taking notes on everything last night, Tater. Chris and I will be there early Thursday to block off as much camp/kitchen/parking space as we possibly can! Let me know if you need help with PMing folks for info and/or equipment needs!

LOL....I'll be leaving in one week and one hour!!!!!!
I am bringing a Camp stove, coolers, fire Ax (as usual) Shovel (full sized) 100' extension cord, saws-all, wood screws, some short 2x4s, rope, two tents, some cut strips of ply-wood 2.5-3'x3-4' for wind blocks under the FJ........................ I'm sure I'll think of some more stuff later
Cool BZ...if you're going to be there Thurs, we might be able to use your help with securing space too!
Absolutely not a problem, as far as the gun stuff:
anyone that was at High Sierra knows what will happen if you are irresponsible with a firearm around me......

if you weren't there, lets just say it wasn't pretty, next time I'll wrap that shotgun around his head.............
wrapped in a caring loving way around his head.......
...or, in a gnarly twisted knot around the neck...
I will bring a full size shovel, a couple of large tarps, cord for the sand anchors, my propane bbq grill, and camp stove. I can also help haul things for Anne and Mark.

I do have to bail on Saturday night to make it back for a family event on Sunday.
