THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
* Drinking excessively and driving is strictly prohibited (CA laws on drunk driving apply on the beach)
* ...so is drinking excessively and becoming a liability to the rest of the group
* No shooting firearms
* Watch out for your fellow FJers...everywhere - on the dunes, in town, in the water, etc.
* Newbies on the dunes...be sure you know what you are getting into. Ride jumpseat in a more experienced driver's rig before trying things out on your own!
* Do not speed over uncontrolled, unobserved dunes - know what's on the other side before jumping or speeding over dunes
* Deflating your tires is highly recommended (air stations are available on the beach and at the gas stations in town)
* Dogs must be on a leash at all times - Informative post can be found here on the SoCal FJ Cruiser Forum.
* Please use the restrooms or PETT toilets - digging holes is not an option unless you don't mind your own kid or family member burying themselves in sand and finding a nice surprise.
* Do not litter, bury bottles in the sand or place bottles into the fire
* Abide by the speed limit while driving on the beach - you will be ticketed if you go over it
* Be respectful when playing music loud - not everyone likes your music. No loud, amplified music late at night.
* Do not do anything that will have serious repercussions on the entire group. Remember, you are representing the off-road community.
* Common sense is your friend
* Violating any of these tips could result in partial/full expulsion from all future trail runs and/or major NorCal/SoCal/AllCal events
* Have fun!

I think I know where he hides outs. Sometime back I purchased his rack for the peep. It looks like the Barber is in. I am thinking I will bring the small trailer so it might work out. I am thinking Thursday am at a start time if it is not raining/flooding somewhere in CA. Let me know how if the ping pongs.
Angry told me he wasn't gonna make it this year but if some one wanted to pick the Taj he would be willing to lend it out to us, and he lives in Sac
If someone knows what to do to set it up (I am not working a flood) I will contact Angry and see about the pickup logistics.
We'll bring an EZ Up, some tarps and rope.

We'll need some extra sand for our EZ Up so Boss, load that trailer full.
Along with all the sand I am brining, (it never get old does it) I am also going to bring my E/Z UP and the normal stuff I bring for kitchen set up and base camp...

Oh and sand...
Boss - Are you up for bring some black sand? It will make me feel like I am in the Islands and we will be warmer. I know what your are thinking - it will make us warmer. lol
I might.. I was thinking more of the white sand from Puerto Rico, fine and smooth as silk.. almost like walking on feathers...
just wanted to get a bit more organized...........so cal would like to contribute to the kitchen/bar and i have a few questions.....

do you all usually potluck fri and sat night? or just sat night? what are your needs? (shut up...you know what i mean)
some food suggestions i posted on socal: chili, baked beans, veggie kabobs, meat kabobs, chips/'veggies and dip, grills and charcoal, tables, wood,
do we need more tarps....tie downs? etc

bar needs? ice/types of alcohol for mixed drinks/contributions to keggers.............

we dont want to step on your toes but we just love you all up north and you guys rock with your set up....we dont want to take it over but we'd love to contribute and make it a feast.
help us to help you cause we need help!! ha ha ha
Hey Chris! Welcome!

I'm not at home, but from what I can remember...

We're having small communal dinners, in that Leonie is bringing dinner for 6-8 for Friday night, and I'm bringing the same for Saturday night. I have a small group I try to feed. We set up a BIG kitchen, usually several ezup's with a bunch of grills.

Sometimes an extra lantern is good.

Bz is bringing a handle of Vodka, I've got the keg of beer and a liter of Tequila. If we run short on anything, it's usually mixers, ice, and sometimes vodka (it's pretty popular). OJ is a hit. Sprite/coke for mixers.

I'll post more Tuesday when I get home, I'm sure others will chime in. Cant wait, it's going to be a blast!
Yeah we can combine everything and have a huge FJC camp and base camp.. Like our own little ground zero if you will... I know that tater is getting a list together of what people are bringing and what still need to be brought to SnT.. I normally do a tri-tip or something on Saturday night and all are welcome to that.. Again I will not have the family and maybe sneak in on what some other people are cooking for other meals...

PB can you bring your little grill ??
We'll be bringing a grill and charcoal and all are welcome to use it.

We'll trade ya grill time for sand BOSS, so be sure and bring plenty...
Sorry dude but all my sand is spoken for.. Maybe you can work something out but I will have a limited supply
