Sunday October 4th Trail Run Auburn/Grass Valley

Took new FJ on first trails last week. Stawberry Trail south (easy version). Gonna go again this Sunday. Anyone up for a run? I'm open to suggestions. I'm a newbie but open to run whatever you think a stock FJ can handle. Be great to run with you more experienced guys/girls to learn a little more. Bz said he may be down. Who'd like to join?

Grass Valley Ray needs to pick up his rig from 4x4labs never been there via colfax

Oh ok.

The route through Cofax cuts about 30 minutes or so off the route. Next trip maybe, its pretty much the same except insted of going up 49 to Grass Valley, you exit at Colfax and take 174 to Brunswick Rd- Idaho Maryland Rd - Red Dog.

Is there a trail to run or is it mostly splashing through the creek and hill climbing?

Its mostly splashing through the river bed and climbing up loose river rock & gravel. There is one hill challege that I know of but you better bring a clean pair of shorts if you dare try it. I have seen even the best of rigs fail and substain damage on it. Very steep, dirt, trees and little room for error.

Water is shallow in most places but there are some deep holes to watch out for. Its mainly a playground for ATVs, Dirt Bikes, and 4x4. Some good photo opts.

grab some gas on 49 and we can meet at 4x4labs and trill 'em yea or nay?
