Well gang what are your thoughts? Steel are powder coated, alum anodized... Bud Built or Ricochet?

Another option is:

RCI Metalworks

They offer steel and aluminum skids.

As others have mentioned, go with steel skids if you plan on some serious rock crawling. Steel scratches/slides over rocks; aluminum gouges. If you are more concerned about weight and only need occasional protection, then go with aluminum.

I personally run BudBuilts, but RCI will get serious consideration when the time comes for replacement skids.

Asfir's website seems difficult to navigate, maybe it was a bad day? Their prices are not that great, maybe shipping from so far away accounts for a lot of the mark-up.
