FJ Cruisers of Northern California

I installed new tires this weekend, and I can't squeeze my hand between the tire and UCA.

An alignment will probably help, but it is tight.

The closest I can find 2 pair are in Washington state, and I can't get them until Wednesday.

I tried 4WP with no luck. Any local suggestions (Sacramento to Monterey)?

are you going to have problems with the body mount?

Loooong gone.

:) good, just making sure! haha.

Thought I was safe with Spidertrax and 275s.  Nope, BMC in my very soon future.

There's mention that a +3.5 caster on the alignment will suffice and there would be no need for BMC. However, I haven't found a place that would be willing to do it. My lifetime Firestone alignment would ONLY align to "factory" specs no matter how much you ask/beg..

Seriously?  I'm at Firestone too and those guys are great.  They have +5 castor on my suspension right now and its great.  Take your truck to this one.

WHAAAAAAAAA????!!!!!! Those bastards! I went to the one in Sunnyvale (on El Camino) and they wouldn't budge. I'll have to take it back in then...

Totally.  Otherwise whats the point of a lifetime alignment when all it does is cause your tires to rub.  Id go somewhere else.  Your lifetime alignment is good at all Firestones. I have one too!
