your manual will discuss service info for regular and severe duty use. That can be found online too if you don't have the manual in your glove-box.
For mechanics try the "mechanix" file at http://www.cartalk.com/mechanics-files for your zip. Its list is filled by people who listen to " Car Talk" with" Click and Clack" on NPR then visit their web-site with recommended local mechanics by zip, a really good resource imho.

Do NOT take it to Steven's Creek Toyota. I took mine in for the 60k and the lazy mechanics didn't torque down things correctly. I was driving down the freeway and the diff cap fell off and spewed oil everything. I almost shredded my gears. BUT they were very nice and fixed it and covered my towing.
Studovich gives a great reason why the ONLY times you should take your vehicle to the dealer are:
1) Warranty work
2) Recall work.
I took my 2012 into Maita Toyota in Sacramento for recall work on the seatbelt anchors and they put a pin-prick mark in my drivers side suicide door that I didn't notice until I got home. I had to re-schedule a new appointment to leave the FJ with them for another day so they could get it fixed at a local body shop. What a pain. But even with Recall work they can still screw up.

ps In Sacramento I recommend Overstreet Auto Repair and On The Road Trucks.
Ive taken mine to Piercey Toyota in Milpitas for damn near every service. They are normally pretty good about it and bringing in a modded FJ always causes a crowd of admirers haha
