Snow Day !

I'm thinking of trekking up to Bear Valley this Sunday for a little snow fun - mostly because my wife has never seen any - yea i know... bad husband!!

I have new 285/75R16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs which have the snow emblem rating, but is there a chance I will also need chains? If I do, any suggestions on which kind/type/brand I should pick up?

And if anyone else wants to drive on up with us, well by all means!!

A 4x4 FJ with snow rated tires will not require chains. You will get a "wave-thru" at the chain check (if there is one).

The reason I created Fuzzy Duds was for a perfect base layer under snow pants.

At SNT all I heard about was these fuzzy duds... one day, I'm going to own a pair. Hopefully before the next SNT.

We will be snow wheeling as well but have yet to decide where to go. Had some interested parties who wanted to go to M.E.T off HWY 50 but not sure. Will keep posted. Be careful and it would be best to have another rig for safety.
