Snorkel... Who has'em?

Ok, was envolved in a fender bender about a month ago and passenger side fender has some scuffs and minor scratches right where a snorkel would go. So with the G/F's aproval (she thinks it looks cool!) i'm now strongly concidering one. Now i'll be honest, i don't believe this will encourage me to ford any 5 foot rivers or anything (not fond of a wet interior or the smell associated with it), i do like the sound of added performance. So i'm looking for real world answers from my fellow norcal peeps on there personal experiance's. If you could do it over again would you? Do your rigs feel like they have a little more get up and go? Thanks for any input.

The additional air resistance would probably overcome any HP gain :-P.

 

I like the idea of having it just in case i go in a hole that ends up being top big.... (I'll wait for the TWSS jokes!)

Cowboy is the only guy in Norcal to have a snorkel, i think. I'd check his install out.
