Also it is wise to add locktite to the studs before assembly and add silicone sealer to the drain holes in the air box.

Yeah I used some blue Loctite on the studs on the snorkel side, but I also packed between the snorkel body and the fender washers with some dumb-dumb then squeezed a little piece over the nuts. That 3M seam sealer works good anytime you mount anything that you don't want to rattle, leak water, or works as a sound deadener. I did it to keep the water from between the snorkel and fender.
