FJ Cruisers of Northern California

got the bash and engine skid in.  what a pain in the rear.

 

Had to go buy my own bolts and make a spacer out fo washers to install the front one  (so i did not have a repeat of the last bolt stripping).  The skids themselves are nice, but installing them on top of the stockers is a pain.

 

2 down 5 to go.

Weird that they go on top of...for the BB ones you remove and replace.
Ya...they are aluminum so for added strength they designed them to go over the stockers i guess. I just wanted a bit of protection but didnt want the weight of the buds.
