Does anyone have a shifter for the manual laying around. Maybe after an upgrade to a short shifter? My stem somehow broke loose and has about 2 in" of play. Needs to be replaced. Kind of on a time crunch too. Going up to kirkwood area to go backpacking and need this fixed before I leave. HELP.

Thanks,

Got a pic of the busted part?
Its the whole shifter itself. Rod and ball and bushing. I mainly just need the rod but i dont think they just have the rod.
Sure its the stem that broke, and that the nylon seat didn't wear through causing the slop?
Hey GRM,

nope its weird. If you take a look at the rod and the shift ball on top there is a secondary sleeve that fits over the rod. This is what actually broke off. I guess there is a cheese tac weld in there holding it to the actual rod. So I can actually take the rod at the base and move it into gear just fine without play. So I know its not the bushing that holds the ball. its this stupid sheath that fits over the rod. Cheap ass manufacturing :)
All fixed thanks to a last minute overnight ship from utah! Thanks!!
congrats on the fix....
