San Mateo Truck & Jeep Fest 2010

the San Mateo Truck & Jeep Fest is coming back to San Mateo at the end of this month. they didn't have much to look at last year, but a few folks made off with killer deals on Hi-Lift jacks.

i won't be there this year, but thought i'd pass this along to those who may be interested in going.

I went, I snored. It was pretty boring.

There were some nice rigs, even if they were Jeeps.

Pretty much the same as last year.. Sorry we lost you DWH when we got in there..

But I ended up staying there for several hours talking to many people trying to get raffle stuff...

No problem, I figured that was what you were up to. The boy and I stayed until about 11:00 and then went to Stockton.

That was my first and last 'Truck Fest".

I was happy to see 4 or 5 FJ's in the parking lot when I left.

I knew what to expect..

I needed to try to get some raffle donations so I walked to just about every booth trying to drum up support..

Oh yeah and I also learned that Boots on a concreate floor is not a good combination for my back... Man was I in pain after all that walking and talking all day.. Ouch..

Jeepfest oh I mean truckfest was interesting.. Good sales for one thing.. I had intentions to expose family and friends to offroad stuff but they were disappointed that no toyotas on display.. Oh well..

I was there on Sunday morning, I think for a total of about 40 minutes. Big yawn!
- I did get myself a pretty awesome ARB tire repair kit for 30 bucks. woOt!
