Rubicon and Buck Lake

Did a few miles of Rubicon on the 28th of last month. Up at Tahoe for a concert but had a few hours to kill. Very busy, the trail was wall to wall people. We drove off up to Buck Lake and the strenuous trail (rock garden) and the lake to ourselves. 90 degrees up there, very warm. It was Jeepers Jamboree weekend too. Some pics here.

Sorry, I meant we had the trail to Buck Lake and the Lake to ourselves for 3 hours, very quite and peaceful .
