Some of you may be wondering how to go about setting up RSS and notifications so you don't miss out on any of the action. Below are a few simple ways to keep track of all the goings-on on NorCal FJs.
RSS
RSS is similar to what you would see in the Latest Activity column on the main page and on some member pages. However, you can set things up so that you can have your NorCal FJs feed side-by-side with other RSS feeds you may be subscribing to.
Here's what to do if you want to subscribe via RSS:
1) Click the RSS logo at the bottom of the Latest Activity column on the main page or member page. The RSS logo looks like this:
2) Choose the application in which you would like to read the feeds.
Alternatively, you could add the website URL to your subscription on applications such as Google Reader.
Notifications
If you are one who prefers to receive notifications via email as opposed to checking RSS feeds, then follow these simple directions:
For email notifications on new Forum Discussions:
1) Go to the Forum page
2) Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "
Notify – Email me when there are new discussions"
For email notifications on discussions or blog posts you have posted or replied to:
1) Go to Settings by clicking the Settings link under your profile name on the right-hand column
2) Choose your notifications accordingly
With these options, you will not miss out on all the action that takes place on norcalfjs.com!
