I really need to get a mounting setup for my rotopax. My Rotopax "Mounting" currently consists of throwing them in the back seat.....thank god they have not leaked yet.

Always a good idea to keep gas cans outside the vehicle.

i strapped them down to the roof rack on my last trip. Not a problem. i didn't show the hardware because its just some bolts and a clamp to the rack.

Thanks Paul, btw, is it ok, legal? to use ratchet tie-downs or do you need a mechanical fastener.

well for the last run my wife and i did down to jawbone and red rock, in a pinch i strapped it down to the roof and it worked. i would have rather had the plates and fasteners in but i didnt.  so it worked.
