front or rear? what kinda shocks are you running? if stock try the dealer, if not which shop did you get them from? we can swap out a shock in about an hour so if get a replacement I would be willing to help out. Good luck
Front Passenger shock looks to be leaking. Stock suspension. Found it because there has been a lot of wobble in the steering and read this might be one of the problems... but I'm not sure. Hoping to put in a 3" lift soon but don't want to break anything in the meantime and the wobble is pretty bad at times.

So I guess the question is, you got a spring compressor? =) I would love your help.
nope no spring compressor, If we take the shock out and take it to a shop you will save some $$

I still think if it's stock make the dealer fix it
You think it's still covered under the powertrain warranty? It's got 50k miles on it.
you can always give it a shot, have you been beating your FJ? some of the dealers around Sac and Auburn are pretty cool
The shocks are easy. We did a few 3" lifts. The spring compressor is rentable for cheap. All day for 6 bucks. It only takes about 30 mins or you could remove the shock and take in to a shop to replace the shock.

Sounds like you should do the lift and repalce both front shocks.
