FJ Cruisers of Northern California
Is it worth the time to do it? If so would a detachable bar be worth biulding/buying??? I wan't more travel in my front end but I dont want to rip out my boots or damage something else. What do you guys think??

from a few years ago but who knows he might still have it..
That's 2007fj, who just responded a few posts up.
Since doing my SAW lift in February, I've been running without a sway bar. It's been great for wheeling on difficult trails in California and Moab. I've put about 5000 road miles on my truck since removing the sway bar - there's definitely more body roll, but the only time I really notice it is in some really tight curves near my work, so I take it a little easier through those now. I rarely notice body roll issues elsewhere. Other than that, I don't miss my sway bar at all.
I Looked into building a link but it will have to be like the one you guys posted due to the sway bar hitting the boot when flexing so Ill have to get another sway bar and biuld one up.
I like that Idea so I dont have to draw up new ones lol
