FJ Cruisers of Northern California

Yesterday I noticed that when I used the key fob to lock the FJ, there was no light flash accompanied by a beep. I did hear the lock fire twice (weird) with one lock button push but no light and no beep. I checked and it was locking and unlocking. The unlock button fires normally. I tried opening and closing the rear door and window this morning and making sure they both were closed completely.  Then it worked fine... this morning.  This afternoon, nada. The front 2 doors unlock and lock normally with beeps and flashing lights. The rear door is locked shut. Nothing I do will unlock it. I've tried the fob, the interior switch on both doors, and turning the key in the rear door. No luck. The rear window won't pop open either.  I don't hear the lock trying to function at all. I can't remove the interior door panel with the door being closed, plus I have the MPAC rack on the rear door which complicates things.  Is there a fuse that may be blown? A toasted relay? I can't find any info. I tried disconecting the battery for an hour but that didn't help. Any help? Pretty much exhausted all I know to do...

Random... This evening after returning home from celebrating Christmas at my in-laws, I locked the FJ with the keyfob and heard the rear door lock function. Naturally I tried everything (locking and unlocking with door switches and keyfobs, as well as turning the key in the lock to pop the rear window and unlock the rear door) and now everything is functioning normally?!? It's a Christmas miracle! Perhaps it was a moisture issue? Hmmmm. I'll keep an eye on it and plan to install a manual interior unlock lever/knob if I can't figure out why it stopped working. Merry Christmas!!!

yay! christmas miracles!

Ok. It worked again for a day, then the next morning, no go. Now last night it works again and this morning it still worked, however it quit working AGAIN this afternoon. I flipped the interior lock lever (inside the rear door) a few times and it works again... Seems like maybe some kind of a loose connection.
