Post SnT - So, What Happens Next Year?
The Ultimate Surf N Turf was a blast despite the weather, but what would SnT be without it?
many have asked about what will happen next year...will there be another event? will we move it to another weekend? will we ever get back together again?
short answer is: yes, we (the FJC community) plan to continue meeting on the same weekend and no, it will not be an "official" event unless someone from TLCA has a plan to reincarnate SnT as a totally different event, in which case it will be status quo as years past. a lot of things need to be researched though.
that being said, if you wish to plan a gathering on some other weekend, please feel free to do so. there is a reason why SnT was always on the same weekend and if you have ever been out there during the summer, you'll know why. again, do not hesitate to post up in the Events calendar if you want to get some folks together for a run on the dunes.
as far as our continued "informal" gathering on the first weekend of every November goes, just consider it as being in "it will happen" mode. in terms of what kind of activities will go on, what the base camp layout will be like, etc...well, it's already in the works. stay tuned.

Well now I just have to figure out how to move homecoming to a different weekend and I'm good to go! Looks like it was a fun time.

Of course when I graduate and school is no longer an issue... the official SnT is no more. But I'll be sure to come for whatever we decide to do!
