FJ Cruisers of Northern California

So, some recent events in my life and losing some loved ones has made me realize that at 34 its time to start having kids.  So next year the wife and I will be starting a family.  This means that the FJ is no longer a priority and frankly doesnt make the best family mobile.  I am in no hurry what so ever, but if anyone knows someone who wants a badass built FJ and to save a ton on not doing it them selves then let me know.  At this point I will not let it go for less than $22k.  It is a 2007 with 73Kmiles on it with $14K in mods/work.

Check my build page on the blue room for more detail on whats on it.  Everything on the list comes with it with the exception of the Ham radio.  If the buyer has a ham license and shows it, they can have the radio too.

good luck with the sale.  Same reason why I got rid of my FJ.  FWIW, since you're not in a hurry, you'd probably come out better if you parted it out, brought it back to stock and traded it in.
I dont know,  I think i would get raped on trade in.  I would have to pay to have the gears swapped back to stock for way more money than its worth.  This all might change later on down the road, but for now if i can get $22k for it in current state then im good.
I hear ya' but I be you can find some one that wants to regear and trade you 3rds.  Just an idea.
That would be the key to me deciding to part it out, but I don't want to do the work to swap the thirds..  its a PITA.
I need to regear...just sayin.
Who is going to do the work?

The FJ works pretty well as a family vehicle AFTER the kids can buckle their own belts. Before that, it is a PITA. I sold my 2001 Tacoma to buy the FJ because it was about 6" wider in the back seat (and I wanted one) and I could fit three carseats there side by side.

Good luck with the family plans!

I kept the FJC and got the wife an 80.....  She loves it!

Only problem is now I want an 80 of my own !! hehe e

Good luck on the sale..

Yeah... problem is the wife commutes a lot more than i do and needs something with better gas mileage.. so shes keeping her car.

Bummer, you have a sick FJ, I know you put a lot of time building it your way.  Good luck with the sale.  Are you parting anything out?  OR do you have any goodies sitting in your garage (dibs!)?

John

Not thinking about parting it out right now.... maybe later down the road.

HEHE...I've read your build if you ever part out your Rig. Let us know...Good luck on the sale.
