I'm thinking of pickin up the Parrot CK3100... so I'm just wondering if anyone has seen these in action.

No but i got the toyota oem bluetooth from toyota of marin. Their website has a 20 % off coupon on accesories. It is easy to install and hooks up to factory fjammer, sound comes through speakers. Only draw back is it wont work with sat. radio. I live in marin if you want to check it out. It even comes with stock fj switch that fits in one of the blanks, nice clean look cant even tell its installed.
I have the 3100 installed. Could not do the OEM because I have factory satellite radio. I really like the Parrot unit. Sound quality is good, but the mic picks up road noise at highway speed (hey, it's a noisy truck!).
If you're gonna install yourself, get the Toyota wiring harness... it will save a lot of splicing.

Mark.
I have the parrot, and love it. I thought it would be hard to hear with all of the cabin noise in the FJ but everyone i call can hear me just fine and vise versa.
Thanks everybody. I have the 3100 waiting for me at home to install Saturday morning. I'll let you know how it goes.
So... I successfully installed the Parrot CK3100 last weekend. It was a piece of cake with the Toyota wiring harness.

I tested it out before attaching the mic and LCD screen in their desired positions and everything worked like a charm.

And then, of course, while figuring out how I wanted to mount the LCD unit (just below the driver's side vent) I ended up BREAKING it. I detached the rear panel in order to remove the cable (so I could thread it through a hole I was doing to drill in the dash), but upon re-seating the connector, one of those microscopic pins became hopelessly bent. Aarrrrrgh.

My place of purchase wasn't much help… so I put in a request at Parrot (I'm STILL waiting to hear back). I had a big road trip coming up, so I went ahead a purchased another unit and swapped out the LCD screen and cable—so I'm back in business. (I'll install the other unit in my wife's car once Parrot decides they want to get back to me).

Anyway... I love the 3100... I can hear very clearly (though my first real test was going highway 101 at 65 in the pouring rain—I could have used a bit more volume). Overall I am pleased.
