and in with the new. Finally got around to getting these installed.
Mark over at Red Eye made up a set for me for the rear sway bar. They should be arriving in the next couple of days. Looking forward to getting those on as it just bothers me seeing the stock ones against the Icon lower links.

Does that lower bolt clear the coil spring when articulated?

It looks big, a lot of extra treads, I had to clearance my OEM bolt to clear my Icon coils.

Yea, it clears but it's really close on both sides. It might not be a bad idea to trim it a bit.

I had to bend my sway bar to give clearance for my coilovers too.

Good thing you asked, because it was what I was wondering about these sway bar parts.

The pic Sean shows is installed incorrectly. They should stick out no further than the factory link.

If your still having clearance issues Toytec sells a swaybar relocation kit just for that purpose..

Sean, that doesn't look right.

Here's a pic of the of what it should look like. You possibly missed a washer or the 1/8'' alum spacer ?

Almost looks like you installed them on the wrong side of the LCA's...
Damn. I think I see what I did. I've got the 1/8" washer on the red side next to the 1/2" spacer not down on the black side. Not sure how I goofed that up. I'll get down there and fix it this morning. Thanks for pointing that out.

It can be good to post pic of a new install for just this reason...   Good catch everyone!!

Ok. Got the washer moved to the correct place. Passenger side I had correct. While I was down there, I noticed that the passenger side has way more clearance with respect to the coil over than the driver's side. Probably about 1/4". Should I loosen the sway bar a bit and slide it over towards the driver side?

Rear links showed up today. Going to try and get them on this weekend.

We need some installed pics. The rear relocation kit is almost ready.Still a bit more testing and clearancing to do.

I don't know why Toyota put the tank right up against the rear axle like that.

I'm getting some nice flex with the kit installed in my initial testing

I've got some running around to do this morning with the girls but my mother-in-law is stopping in for a visit. That'll give me a bit of estrogen free off duty time so I should have these installed just after lunch. I'll put up some pics later.

Looking forward to getting the kit. Send it down when you're ready.
