Oroville is up near Chico.
This event would be cool to check out. Too bad I alraedy have a full schedule for July.

W.E. Rock is at Surplus City in Oroville. From the Surplus City website:

The High Lakes are NE from Oroville about an hour to the trail head, then another hour or so of trail time to get to the lakes. Trails are fun and the last time I was there I don't remember them being too difficult. I took my stock 89 Toyota Truck up there and it did fine. There are some more challenging trails near the lakes if you want something hard to run.
