I know the 5100s with the spacers+ OME springs won't work - I had to jump up to the OMEs from my 5100s. My guess is that without the spacer you would probably be ok with the 5100s but I would ask ARB....or wait until other chime in here.

Permalink Reply by Shaman Rawb on January 28, 2012 at 5:21am Installed the OME Mediums in the front. OMG what was I missing. Left the spacers out. Good idea.
Thanks for the advice Esty. It got me really thinking about the math. I think if I had installed them, my A-Arms would be very close to rubbing the springs.
:)
Glad they went in well! Let us know how the combo works out on the trail!
Permalink Reply by LumbaJak (Max) on January 28, 2012 at 5:12pm Looks like I'm a little late to reply but i have the 5100 front shocks and the OME 885 springs on the front and they work out real well you just have to have the 5100's on their lowest setting.

Permalink Reply by SPARIS on February 3, 2012 at 3:22pm Hello shaman. im scott and just join the nor cal FJ about two weeks. Im excited to join the FJ team, find trails and get ready and upgrade my tires. Your FJ looks perfect size with the height and tires. I wanted to know what kind of shock you have on the FJ? Front adjustable coil over kit with Bilstein 5100's or the Bilstein 5100 Series Ride Height Adjustable Shock Absorber ? Did you add in suspensions for the wheels to make it level? Will it work with a 33" tire? Thanks advance for you help.
Permalink Reply by Shaman Rawb on February 3, 2012 at 3:27pm Hey Scott,
I have the Bilstein 5100 shocks only, with OME 886's in the front and OME 895's in the rear.
I LOVE the ride. I would swap out the rears to 896's if I could find a cheap set just to firm it up a little more, but it is not necessary. It did really well in Death Valley this weekend.
Yes, a 33 should fit. I am running 285/70/17's which are 33" tall, but skinnier.
