Anyone have any feedback on OME lifts? I've heard nothing but "great product for the price". Any one have any bad experience with them? Or do you just love em?

For the price I give them a 10.
If money were no object I'd give them about a 6 or 7. Mainly because of adjustability.
I've had mine for well over a year now and have no complaints.
There are changes coming in my near future but for the price and what it gets you, it's hard to beat the OME.
OME is a great all around lift, or starter lift if you want to get off the ground, tuff as hell and dirt cheap
Great lift for carrying heavy loads, going slow and for getting up and over rocks.
I had the mediums and thought it was too stiff. Suspension only felt right with all my gear in the back. Way too stiff in the front for going over any bumps at speed. In whoops you get the pogo stick effect.
Stock upper control arms often rub on the coil spring at full droop.
I've been running my OME for almost 3 years now and I'm very happy with it and don't see the need for myself to upgrade.

The big decision with the OME is to make sure you set it up right.

I originally had the OME heavy front and rear. I was getting beat to hell on the road and on the trail. I swapped the rear springs out for the OME Medium leaving the heavies up front to deal with the weight of the ARB bumper and winch and I'm very happy with the ride quality. Only thing I still need to add is a replacement set of upper control arms to give me back some adjustability with caster and canting of the front wheels

Price wise you can't beat the OME, but as said before if you want adjustability you need to spend more money on a lift like the ICONs which is also a great system.
I agree with what Josh is saying. OME's are a great value but you need to chose them wisely for what weight you will be running in your rig. I bought 885 front and 895E rears, they were great but a tad stiff until I got my front bumper installed. Divngrl is running my springs now and with her ARB front the ride is just right, IMO.

The only reason I swapped out for Icons was because they were a smoking deal used. The adjustability is nice and the ride is smooth but they are expensive buying new. I think it is all a matter of what you want to do and can afford.

Go out on a trail run with us and ask to ride shotgun with folks to find out the differences. Alot of us have Icons or OME but a few have Kings and SAW setups as well.
You could also consider a hybrid system.
I run OME mediums up front, but the Toytec long travel rear springs in the rear.
These allow you to run the longer N171 landcruiser shocks. I bought the setup from Toytec and have been happy with it for a long time now. I am going to add OME heavy fronts to deal with the bumper and winch, but otherwise I am set.

The next person to tell you that you should run Icons should get a flat tire.
WOW !! Evil I tell ya..

Maybe I will just come by and rip out your Valve stem !!! hehehe

Wishing bad things on your Fellwo FJC owners not good karma... LOL
Aw yes but Confucius say "good humor more important than bad karma"
Oh yeah I forgot about that... LOL
good thing no one has told him to buy Icons. ;-)

It all comes down to what you plan to do w/ your truck.
Just want a lift--buy some pucks, want to carry some weight--buy OME, want to go fast--buy something else.
