I was thinking it looked like it got used the way it was intended!  always a nice thing to see.
Passed a black convertible FJ at the bottom of Waldo Grade on 101 near Mill Valley exit this morning. It was headed North. The top looked pretty much the same as the one on Dave's camo convertible. Grab your sawzalls, I see a trend starting here. (Makes me feel stupid for buying the freedom windows. I should have just hacked the top off.)
you could always pop-out your freedom windows, sell them, and then hack the top off.
Saw a Black FJ with "ABC Appliance" all over the side windows and rear window heading up 29 on my way to Napa/St. Helena yesterday evening. Had Eagle Alloys, TG Sliders, Hi Lift mounted up and possibly a bit of a lift. Was a trip to see as it was almost the exact setup I have on my FJ down to the license plate frame... we both waved and took off. Sound familiar to anyone?
I think I just saw Overlander36 again!  Pulling out of four wheel parts in santa rosa, which is right were I was going... bad timing, one minute earlier and we would have been able to chat instead of just wave.
May have been my truck but not me. Its been at the toyota dealership since last Thursday. The brake pedal has been sporaticaly going all the way to the floor when you hold the brake on (bleed down, like bad master cylinder). Toyota says they won't replace MC until they see it fail, and they want me to drive it till it fails again. I won't drive it so one of their techs is driving it. He lives in Petaluma, his name is Brad, be sure and give him a wave, especially if he has his feet sticking out the door trying to stop the truck. BTW new MC is two thousand six hundred dollars. 2010 with 20K miles.
Definately looked like your rig, unless you have a doppleganger around here?
I was cruising around Tuesday and got stopped at a light on Blackstone and Barstow in Fresno a little after 4, looked over to the left and saw a sandstorm in the parking lot on the northeast corner. Shared a couple waves, but he was going the opposite way. I was a little thrown when I saw the FJ had a naked rear end...no spare tire or spare tire holder. Also saw a wench, roof rack, and some nice mud splatter :) Just wondering if it was someone around the site...

Sorry, I don't know why the photo rotates when I upload it.

Parked in the Macy's parking lot in downtown Sunnyvale today...at about 2 pm. ARB front and rear bumpers, BFG ATs, spartan sticker on the fuel tank door.

I was the sandstorm parked on the other side of the lane...also with ARB front and rears.  Howdy!

I've heard of sticky tires, but damn! lol
just saw a black one with a baja rack, sliders, and blackout. saw it on the 3rd floor of the Oakridge parking lot in San Jose

I usually spot (I didn't see it today but did this week) a black cherry with what looks like a Demello front bumper on 85 North around 6:30 am or so.  I'm always heading southbound heading back home from work around then.

I went to Lake Anderson today and spotted a black FJ with moto metal wheels, ARB bumper, and multiple fishing stickers on the back.
