One group will be departing Thurs to get to Hungry Valley early to save some camp spots. The other will be leaving Friday.

So is everyone camping? Guess it'd be hard to set up the infamous NorCal Lounge in the parking lot of a Best Western, eh? Everyone coming in that Saturday morning, leaving Sunday afternoon?

Does anyone have a PA system or have a generator? I think it'll be useful at night. FJ-Piper is bringing a big screen for movies and maybe some off road videos. It should be fun. Looking forward to meeting you guys!

i know there were a few cats that were installing some high-quality PA systems on their rigs, but not sure if they are going or not. i think the only norcaler that has a generator may be Ranger Jim, but i'm not sure.

I was down in LA for a conference this past weekend. On the way home on Sunday, I stopped by Hungry Valley. I did a little exploring but stayed on trails close to the road as I was solo. It seemed like a cool place. Quite a bit bigger than I expected. The only negative was that I got some stink eye from a couple dirt bike riders...apparently they don't like sharing their trails. Its really gonna scare 'em when we roll in with a herd of FJs! BTW- the guy at the gate has already heard that we will be coming down. He was cool and is looking forward to hosting our group.
