NorCal FJ Event Calendar

Greetings NorCal!

NorCal FJs now has an event calendar to help you organize and plan your schedules more effectively. The event calendar will eventually replace the Trail Run Planner thread. What are the benefits of the event calendar over the Trail Run Planner?

You can import trail runs, socials and other events to Outlook or iCal
Event calendar view allows for easier readability and usability
RSVP-ing to events is much easier

You may create your own public events, such as install days, trail runs, socials, etc. and generate initial interest by inviting your friends. You also have the option to create private events, but keep in mind that this option only allows you to specify who can RSVP -- it is still viewable by others. Most NorCal FJ events should be Public.

In an effort to keep the events searchable, please use single word tags when creating your event. Examples include:

* Trail - for trail runs

* Social - for socials such as beer outings, pizza parties, birthdays, etc.

* Install - for install days

* Cleanup - for trail clean-up days including Hollister Hills SVRA cleanup days

* Expo - for events such as Overland Rally, 4Wheel Parts Expo, Sportsmen's Expo, etc.

* Education - for Tread Lightly! training, HAM classes, etc.

* Other - for events that do not fit into any of the categories above
