New member introduction

Hi All,

I've been eyeing the FJ for quite some time now. Almost bought one in 2010 but ended up getting a Mercedes SUV instead. Turns out it was probably one of my worse car purchases ever. It was a good vehicle (bare bones GLK350) that drove nice and was quiet and smooth at 90mph but I never related to it as a vehicle. It was just too civilized and seemed more at home at the mall then the trails.

I was going to trade it in for a Tacoma truck but ended up seeing a 2013 FJ in Calvary Blue in the lot which called out to me. It was an overcast day so the blue was really dark that day. I couldn't stop thinking about it and finally bought the FJ later that week.

My family didn't see the FJ before I got it but everyone absolutely loved it including the dog. One of the best car purchases I have ever made and makes me grin every time I think about it.

Looks like there are many here in Nor Cal that feel the same way!

Can't wait to take it off-road and making mods and meeting members!

Hollister Hills! The FJ can drive damn near everything there stock and can do it even easier when modded slightly. Set up a day or weekend you can go and i'm sure some other rigs would be able to join
