I heard about it but haven't seen it ... Take some pics so we can check it out

there are some narrow trails there and if i'm not mistaken, they are shared trails unless the area is only open to 4x4s that day. that being said and if that is indeed the case, be even more mindful of those whom we share the trails with. have fun!

I have been over there and done some trails. Mostly just some real easy trails with some switch backs. Some tight spots and and logs and such laid down on their side to drive over. There is one camping spot at the very top that has some pretty fantastic views. For me its was mostly just getting over there to check it out.  This also was several years ago and it was still a work on process, so I would like to think that they have done some more with it.  Maybe even added some more camping but that would be total speculation on my part.

I did not know they were sharing trails over there.. Thats kind of scary as some of the trails were pretty narrow. But then again I was there some time ago and hopefully they have fixed that..

Oh yeah, this weekend they are having Molina Ghost run over a the upper ranch and thats why its closed..

Well i checked it out today.i was wrong it is called hudner it is the blue gate on the left maybe 300 yards before you turn to pay and get he gate code.i was sorta nervous going to check it out seeing every trail there is a black diamond and with names like rib cage-phills fall-raptor rige-cliffhanger-dans demise -martins mishap to nam a few.it was nice exploring a new area and its great to see Hollister Hills trying to give us more land to do what we all want to do and did i mention it was free.when they say tight trail they really mean tight trail.i can see why they dont have the trails one way it could really suck if you were on the trails and someone was coming the other way.it is just a little wider then the fj in almost every part of the trail with the wheels right on the edge.the trails definitely not black diamonds when dry or in the conditions they are now but would be absolutely scary and dangerous if wet or muddy. With the trails so tight and alot with off camber there can only be one line up any of the trails in a vehicle fj size.and if you did slip because of mud the end result would definitely be a roll over all the way down the mountain. With that being said i still had fun and was able to complete all the trails there no problem today and still had time to go skydiving at Skydive Hollister 3 times and finally completed my AFF and got my A license certification. Not a bad day off will post pics later
