New here and new to wheeling. Ive always wanted to go on a trail run but dont know any near me..

Like the title says, im new to the wheeling scene. I have yet to go on a trail run but i really want to start attending some and getting to know more of the FJ community! Im located in Walnut Creek and willing to drive a bit for a run!

If you can't find anyone putting anything together, Esprit De Four puts on Safety Clinics every year at Hollister Hills. It's a one day course. It starts with a relatively short class then they have runs through Hollister. The members will take you through obstacles (Stair Steps, Frame Twister etc...) and trail runs (easier trails and obstacle course) and also a few exercises (backing up downhill, getting your vehicle leaning over towards break point etc...) to get you used to playing with your rig. They're all very experienced and if you follow their instructions, they'll get you through the obstacles. After, there's a BBQ. There's a fee for the class but it wasn't that much (maybe 60 when I went) and that includes the BBQ. If I'm not mistaken, they have runs once a month also. I've passed some of the folks that originally took my wife and I through the safety class from here to SoCal caravan-ing to other parks.

Welcome! I a, sure you have prob scene me around as I am pretty sure I have seen your rig a few times! Can't miss mine it's the one that looks like it's been rolled over aka the silver rasin. Check out fb if you have one for the nor cal Fj group!
