FJ Cruisers of Northern California
Thought i would join and say hi. I have money down on a '13 iceberg manual that i should be picking up in 3 to 4 weeks (Also getting a '13 Rav4 for my wife). I am excited i have wanted one since they came out but work driving requirements have forced more economical smaller cars on me that is about to change and will be using my wifes '97 civic as my work beater.
I cannot wait to start wheeling, meet some new people and enjoy a new slower pace and change from Autox and recerboy stuff Plus it fits my mountain biking, shooting,Ham radio and other hobbies a little better.
I plan on mods out of the gate and have a budget of about $6g to get started needless to say i will be posting allot for help on mod choices although i have a pretty good idea on what i want but "need input" lol.
Thanks and i look forward to getting to know you guy's and gal's.

Slow welcome to the NorCal site. Hope to see out on the M&G's or trail runs.
Yay i am picking up my FJ on sunday morning! One slight change i am going automatic decided not to wait on the manual i ordered because i am pretty stoked on the price i got on a '13 Automatic with offroad, convenience, alloys, tow hitch and floor mats for $29,400 which is $100 lower than my manual price. I cannot wait!
LOL it will make drinking my whiskey on the rocks easier i tend to spill while shifting!
This will be my 10th car and only my second automatic my last one was 12yrs ago. I hopefully will not miss the torsen, full time 4wd or fun of a manual for the sake of an easier time with my excessive drinking and putting on my man makeup ;)
