FJ Cruisers of Northern California
I am new to the FJ world but i have been eyeing them for years. I just bought an iceberg 2013. I am hoping to get the basics done ASAP. if anyone has some input on lift kits and other accesories i am all EARS. I am looking to do;
-onboard air
-lift and tires
-new bumpers front and back
-lighting
any advice on any of these again would be greatly appreciated. i look forward to seeing some of you on the trail.

Howdy from Yosemite!
My primary home is in Clovis, so hope to see you around.
Welcome to the group! Hope to see you around town and on the trails!
Here is a very helpful link that gives good advice on equipment for a new FJ.
You will be amazed at how capable the FJ is, and some suggest just getting the very basics to start (recovery gear, sliders, lower rear control arms) and then driving it for a while to really learn how it behaves on the trail before adding a lift and other mods.
Welcome aboard and we hope to see you on the trails soon too.

Welcome from another StepCal-er, Squaw Valley here :)
Just saw on a Cal Fire FB posting, there is a fire up there near Bronco Lane. Hope all is well.
Yeah, they finally got it under control. I actually live maybe two or three streets over from Bronco and could see where the fire started from the back porch. Scary stuff. We had another fire last week too a little higher up. Thanks
Thanks for the replies, and the feedback. looking forward to meeting some of you.
fresno is in the central valley, about 2 hours south of sacramento. it sits at the base of yosemite
