New FJ owner in Campbell

Picked up my silver 2008 FJ on Friday. It's pretty much stock, need to save up for some up-grades.
This is a great forum, Ive already learned a lot.
A little about me. I live in Campbell. I work at Peet's. When I'm not working or with the family I surf and fly fish.

Welcome and congrats on your FJ purchase. I'm nearby in Cambrian and often in Campbell, so say hi if you see my army green FJ with white top and blacked out rims. Btw I'm in the 'keep it stock' camp, but currently looking to get a hitch and considering Hidden Hitch aftermkt vs. OEM... so may go astray.

belated welcome, Jason! enjoy your FJC while stock. i kept it stock for the first 1.5 years and had a great time with it. btw, you've got a lot of fly fishfolk here to exchange fish tales. a few surfers as well. catch ya on the trails or at a social.

Jason, welcome to the forum and CONGRATS on your new ride. (It's not like I'm the official greeting committee or anything, but people were nice to me when I first joined, so I'm paying it forward :-). I used to own a Jeep ('94 Hunter Green Sahara), and that was a large, committed community. I think the FJ community (NorCal & fjcruiserforums.com) is smaller, seemingly tighter-knit, and just as committed. You made a good choice!

I live in San Jose - Just finished a big upgrade... Planning for next one. Found the build threads on the blue group to be very helpful as well, but the gang on this site is awesome, too.
