Nevada City - Graniteville - Bowman Lake Snow Wheeling Weekend Before New Years

Let's go play in the snow and have some fun. I don't know how far into Bowman Lake we can make it, but if we make it, I will probably camp over night. I will be leaving early enough so that those who just want do a day trip can make it back out with no need to freeze in camp. Average temps for Bowman lake are 23/45 for low/high, but could get considerable colder.

Meet in Nevada City for gas/late breakfast and leave around 10? Anyone know a good place to meet in Nevada City? Date to be determined by who wants to go...possible dates are 12/29 to 12/31.

I only have a stock truck, so don't worry that you can't keep up in the snow. We'll play it by ear and see how far we get. Those with better snow rigs can continue on and play in the deeper snow.

I will bring my large 2-burner camp-chef stove, so we can cook a hot lunch and make hot beverages.

We can meet up in Sac and roll together to the Grass Valley meetup spot

Since you're in Sac, it would be out of the way for either of us...closest meetup point would be Roseville, if you know any good spot to meet there. Otherwise, there is a Raley's grocery store right off the freeway in Loomis (Horshoe Bar rd. exit, cross back over the freeway going North).
