FJ Cruisers of Northern California

So after a week of driving my new FJ I think I want a bit more get up off the line...

My question to you long(er)-time owners is what are the best mods you have found to increase HP and throttle response?

(Mine is A/T)

Cold air intake ( trd ) and exhaust.
CAI, headers, y-pipe, unichip or x-1, and re-gear. Take your time and pick up the parts over time.Sadly you won't pass smog if you do this though.

Of course this is just for performance. There's still armor, lift, tires,...communications, etc.

Good luck.
I agree with pkelley..
Air and Exhaust, if you wanna spend money you can get a chip. But it by all means is no race car... lol
So CAI and exhaust make the most sense ($ sense that is). Preferred brands? TRD for the CAI, exhuast too?

Supercharger sure would be cool but I don't think anyone makes them for 2010 yet (expensive anyways).

Actually I can't even seem to find any CAI's for 2010 either...
My brother got his done at the stealership for his 2010
The CAI?
My roomie put a throttle-body spacer in his Chevy and noticed a tiny bit more get-up, but not a whole lot.

Poweraid makes them for about $130.

$130!
If you know anyone that has one that I can measure let me know! That's about $3 worth of aluminum and a couple hours of my time to make. (aside from the anodizing of course)
Well that's the website's price. I think my roomie got his for about $90.
