I've seen a few pics on here where people have iPads mounted as GPS Units. I have a iPad and was wondering what apps or maps people use Off Line on them. What works the best. I'm going into the Mojave or there abouts with some friends this weekend and would like to use it if I could. I more then likely Will Be Off Line with no cell service.

I found "Gaia GPS" app. Does or has anyone tried this one?

Ask Tater what he uses. I think it's MotionX

I use MotionX GPS HD... http://gps.motionx.com/ipad/overview/

2 to 1 :) = MotionX. Thanks Fellas :)

I am one of the Gaia GPS developers. If you'd like a free copy (iOS or Android), please send a note to support@gaiagps.com.

A lot of offroaders tend to use Gaia GPS, because of the forest service maps we provide.
