Metaltech Bumper Group buy

If you are in the market for a metaltech bumper there is rumor on the BR that there will a group buy starting around the 4th. I have not seen metaltech confirm or deny, but the person posting seems pretty confident.

Just an fyi if you are looking for a tube bumper. If it happens I am going to jump on it as i was planning on buying one anyway.

I have the Metal Tech bumper with the powdercoated bash plate. Awesome bumper, easy install, and Mark and LT are super guys to deal with. There was a messup with my order and they sent the winch mount instead of the bash plate, (Iknow, real bummer, huh? but I am an honest guy) and when I contacted Mark, he appologized and sent the bash plate without receiving the winch mount back yet, and he also sent pint glasses, tee shirts for myself and my son, an FJ tire tool, and a few more odds and ends. Too bad more "mistakes" don't end up like that!!!

YAY! I sure hope it is true. Was just about to pull the trigger and buy the bumper. Will be visiting family in Portland soon so I hope it starts around the 4th.

saw you ordered today. I am 3 on the list. Hoping we get the 20th tomorrow because they already have several back from the powder coater so they should start shipping quick.

20th order has been placed! This has turned out to be a damn good deal, especially with the low shipping charges to western states (they use OnTrac, which is faster and cheaper (and likely less damage prone) than truck freight).

NOT TOO LATE FOR OTHERS TO JUMP ON THIS!

I'm now looking into winches and lights. Presently I'm favoring a Superwinch 95 Rock, though I might wait for the 98 Rock. Amazon has a pretty decent price on the 95 Rock though. For lights, I'm thinking of going with LEDs to keep the power requirements down.
