MET snow run 12-21-13

Didn't see any FJ's here today. At 15 miles in (set trip at turn onto MET) once again a sedan tried and failed to make the pass. Closed the road, Ranger trying to winch car out of road. Four jeeps could have helped but told not to. We decided to hit Old Iron Mountain Road and got these shots today.

Thanks, looking forward to an ARB steel rear bumper next,, and..... a lot more snow up there!!!

That peak was about 5800 feet, so looking downhill, very green. Pollock Pines got snow 2 weeks ago but mostly gone. MET was very much covered in old, crisp snow at those peaks, Not as fun to drive on as powder.
